“I don’t believe in charity. I believe in solidarity. Charity is vertical, so it’s humiliating. It goes from the top to the bottom. Solidarity is horizontal. It respects the other and learns from the other. I have a lot to learn from other people.”
What if you had a second chance with the one that got away?
Sybil and Tom first met nine years ago, spending a life-changing night together walking around an unfamiliar city and falling in love – but they lost touch and didn’t see each other again.
Now, Tom is a successful author, on a book tour to promote his latest novel. His last stop is in Paris, where Sybil is now living to complete her medical studies. Sybil goes along to his press session at a bookshop on the Left Bank ….will they be reunited?
Story idea based on the 2004 movie Before Sunset - thank you angiemagz for the wonderful picture! I really want to write this now. Good chance to practice writing more dialogue!
